hey thanks so much for the fav! I was thinking about doing the particular shot for sometime (i have this list of ideas in my little wee red book) and therefore it means more to me than most of the other shots, and so getting positive feedback feels all the better as well.
:iconwildsurmise:
It seems to be quite the 'putting yourself out there' shot... except, tell me, how much did you self-edit the objects that 'represented' you? i'd be tempted to go pretty hard pn the ol' me-as-i-wanna-be trip ;)

One does what one must. Last night I ran around a pool table in my undies.

I hardly self-edited at all. I have a weird habit of collecting tickets stubs from cool concerts, movies, or sports events I went to, and I have some of them stuck on my wall. Once I finally decided to do this concept thingy, it didn't take more than five minutes. Most of the stuff is off my wall (tickets, polaroids etc) and the other stuff is my favourite (some of them anyway) dvds , minidisc (the particular disc has Lost In Translation on it, which has been my favourite travelling music for couple of years now , and I have a lot of good memories attached to it), and cd (Pavement, one of my all time favourites) and they are just off the shelves. tobacco... well I hardly smoke, exept when I'm drunk. wristbands.... I've been involved with different NGOs for years. Library stubb... I've been working there part-time for three years. Film strip... I'm currently really enthusiastic about shooting film. the 20d lies dusting in the cupboard. most of the things/objects are important to me one way or another, or they just bring good memories. the dvds and cds and concert stubs are in someways self-explanatory, but some of the rest will propably remain a mystery even to close friends. But I don't think it matters.

I'd say it's pretty accurate image of me. someways anyway. Although, I'd maybe change the Eternal Sunshine..' dvd to Annie Hall. It's just that I had loaned it to a friend at the time.

I too have a mural (almost covers all the walls now...) of such random objects. It's quite an intimate thing to do; people can make what they will of throwaway objects. I must see Annie Hall ;)
